Ultimate Highland Cow Experience

On this 2 and a ½ hours private tour, our Ultimate hands-on highland cow experience is perfect for the passionate enthusiast. Hiring out the full trailer to yourselves gets you quickly out into the meadows to meet our glorious pedigree fold of Scottish Highland Cows. You'll be allowed to walk amongst them, photographing the Highland Cattle at your own pace.

At the start of the farmer-led tour, we will meet outside the farm shop, and begin with an introduction talk followed by a short safety briefing.

Hop onto our weather-proof passenger trailer and enjoy an interactive and educational Highland Cow Safari into the pleasant pastures where the rest of the fold of highland cows graze all year round.

During our unique Meadow Moo-ch you’ll have plenty of time to wander amongst these stunning cattle with their magnificent horns, long shaggy coats, and flowing fringes (dossens) that cover their face, allowing you to see them eye to eye and get plenty of great photographs or videos.

The knowledgeable farmer will tell you facts about the breed, you can learn their names and all about their different personalities.
Feel free to ask the farmer any questions that you may have about our pedigree cattle.

We will then hand feed, fuss, and brush some of our younger highland coos during our Highland Cow Hands-On.

We are happy to take a picture of you with one of the cows so you can share the experience on your socials.

Last but not least, you will meet and greet our fluffy Highland calves in the cow barn. You’ll get to pet and groom them, spending time socialising the calves, gaining their trust, maybe even giving them a cuddle or two. We will show you how we halter train and prepare the cows for shows. If you’re confident enough, you can try leading them on a little walk on the halter.
