Deluxe Highland Cow Experience

This is a 90-minute private version of our popular Peak Highland Cow Experience, our most popular hands-on highland cow tour, which is perfect for families, couples, or photographers.

An exclusive 3-part private tour with your own personal tour guide. You'll be allowed to walk amongst them, meeting and photographing the Highland Cattle at your own pace. An ideal way to meet our glorious pedigree fold of Scottish Highland Cows on the Yorkshire and Derbyshire edge of the Peak District, England’s first National Park.

At the start of the farmer-led tour, we will meet outside the farm shop and begin with an introductory talk, followed by a short safety briefing.

• During the Summer months, you’ll hop onto our weather-proof passenger trailer and enjoy an interactive and educational Highland Cow Safari into the pleasant pastures where the rest of the fold of Highland cows graze all year round. During the Winter months, you’ll wander through our barns, giving you more time with the cows on foot.
  

• During our unique Meadow Moo-ch™, you’ll have plenty of time to wander amongst these stunning cattle with their magnificent horns, long shaggy coats, and flowing fringes (dossens) that cover their face, allowing you to see them eye to eye and get plenty of great photographs or videos.

• We will then meet, pet, and groom some of our younger Highland Cows during our Hairy Coo Encounter either in our exclusive outdoor Coo-ral™ or under a roofed area during wet weather.

Experience a proper Highland cattle farm, with dozens of breeding cows, over half a dozen bulls, and around 100 Highland Cattle in total.
We are not a farm park with a handful of ornamental attractions in a single paddock.

The knowledgeable farmer will tell you facts about the breed; you can learn their names and all about their different personalities.
Feel free to ask the farmer any questions that you may have about our pedigree cattle.

We are happy to take a picture of you with one of the cows so you can share the experience on your socials.
