This 40-minute private session is all about getting up close with our Mini Moos. Meet these stunning cattle, known for their gentle nature, long shaggy coats, and flowing fringes (dossens), perfect for capturing many photos or videos of yourself with Highland calves.

You'll learn interesting facts about highland cows, their behaviours, and personalities. We're very passionate about our pedigree Highlands, so we want you to leave us loving the breed just as much as we do! It's not every day you get a chance to meet these animals and get hands-on! Learn how to comb the calves' distinctive long hair and prepare yourself for giving them plenty of scratches and head rubs! It’s like having your own private Highland Coo Petting Zoo!

You will meet and greet our fluffy Highland calves in the cow barn. You’ll get to feed, brush and fuss them, spending time socialising the calves, gaining their trust, maybe even giving them a cuddle or two. We will show you how we halter train and prepare the cows for shows. If you’re confident enough, you can try leading them on a little walk on the halter.

Our pedigree Highland cows are excellent examples of the animal. We want to see great Highland Cows for generations to come, which is why we are dedicated to improving the breed.

Whether you’re celebrating a special someone who loves highlands, surprising a loved one with something unique, or simply looking for a relaxing day out, this Highland Cow encounter is unforgettable. It’s the perfect way to make close friends with one of the UK’s most beloved farm animals.

·        Suitable for participants who use a mobility scooter, wheelchair or walker.

·         Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
