Come to the farm and meet some of our Highland Calves!

In this 30-minute session, you will get up close and personal with the haltered mini moo*, giving you the opportunity to stroke, brush, feed, take lots of photos and possibly even cuddle the calf!

Learn about the breed

You'll learn interesting facts about highland cows, their behaviours, and personalities. We're hands-on with our animals and very passionate about the Highland breed, so we want you to leave us loving them just as much as we do!

Stroke the Highlands

It's not every day you get a chance to meet these animals and get hands-on! Learn how to comb the calves' distinctive long hair and prepare yourself for giving them plenty of scratches and head rubs!

The experience lasts around 30 minutes

Available Wednesdays to Sundays
(Mondays and Tuesdays during Half-Term)

Best suited for adults and children aged 5 upwards

Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. (Under 2s Free)

Not recommended for those who are pregnant.

Sensible footwear and clothing are recommended.

For larger groups of up to 8 people, please add another session on to the booking.

* MaHaRuCo's halter training is an integral part of their Highland cattle breeding program, focusing on building a calm, trusting, and well-behaved relationship with their cows through patient, gentle handling.
